I have to admit I am jealous...

This is the first time that I have watched the entire Bachelor show. I think it is a little silly at times but you also want to keep watching. I know I have an amazing man and we do fun things together...however...that show will make any happy woman jealous! No Brian and I have not: rolled around in the sand making out (maybe on our honeymoon, hehe), been on beautiful boat drinking and making out :) and we have not been to an amusement park that was reserved just for us!

Ok so I am going on two rampages here! The first saying that the show is cute and all but come on, they live a little too much in a fantasy world. (Just my opinion)

Second and my initial jealous factor...I watched "some" of the Bachelor Wedding with Jason and Holly and the one and only Gavin Degraw sang at their wedding!! I called Jessica immediately! We went to his concert years ago and were in love and then actually brought him back this year as I found the CD and played it as we were getting my classroom ready. Basically I wanted to share that if Gavin was going to play at my wedding I would love for him to play...

Weekend Update

Although we had a very busy week, our weekend turned out to be pretty relaxing! Friday we had Brian's family and my mom over for dinner! I have to say it went well and was quite delicious! :) Saturday we woke up (early) thinking we were going to take our engagement pictures however the crazy Arizona rain prevented this. It was a little too gloomy for Lindsey to take the pictures she would have liked so we rescheduled it for Thursday! They will be taken!!
We met with a DJ today and he was really impressive! We just need to figure out how to work him into the budget. Great quality=$Dollar $Dollar Bills :)

I received a package, it was my first misc. wedding purchase! I now have 100 of these cute keys! Not sure how they will be used yet but really like them!!
Ooh I forgot to share this purchase...from Hobby Lobby! Again do not know exactly how I will use it but it will be used some how!

We have another busy week ahead of us...especially the weekend which leads us into Spring Break!!

Monday: Meet with Lindsey at http://dreamlenzphotography.com/ to talk about engagement photos and wedding day details! Done! She is awesome and she really seems to know what we want and like! Cant wait for Sunday!! Oh I cant forget...30 Day Shred! Completed-Legs feeling like rubber :)

Tuesday: Drop pants off to get altered and get my measurements so I can order my dress!Eeee! Moved to tomorrow... 30 Day Shred! Check!
Back to work to celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday...I get to pass out hot dogs, Hooray! Check!!

Wednesday: Take Adriane to I Do I Do Bridal to try on my dress for her to see! If Adriane (the fashion expert) approves it’s a GO! :) Unfortunately we couldn't coordinate a time to meet so Age did not see it. Hopefully next week. I did drop off pants and got measured...ready to order DRESS!! 30 Day Shred! Shredded it!!

Thursday: I guess I have to take a wedding break and go to school and actually focus on my research/paper. Bummer! 30 Day Shred-maybe before class? What do you say Kristian?

So..the week has changed quite a bit...

Today I shredded it! Went to school, got my nails and toes done, picked out all my outfits for engagement pics and made a cute shirt (will post picture soon), with the help of Kristian...thank you :)

We have a kick ball game after school with the teachers, it should be fun! Aunt Denie is town so we will be having the whole family over for dinner!

Friday:

Saturday: Since their may be rain delay we will be doing our Engagement pictures on Saturday morning instead of Sunday. Very excited! Which means that the morning is booked and our evening is now open!

Sunday: Meeting with DJ at 3:30 at Tempe Market Place...movie to follow!

Whoo! That's are week, I hope Brian doesn't read this... haha! :) I love you!

Jacob and Rachel are two lucky parents! They have the most beautiful girl in the world! Ooh Iz you are just so darn cute, look at those eyes. She looks like a baby doll! We miss you guys, smooches all around!

Dress Update

So I checked out Suzanne’s Bridal Boutique and this is what I figured out…
I like the sweetheart neckline on me
I do not like gems and beads…but I have to admit I eventually liked just a little!
The mermaid style looked silly on me…
I like simple but not too simple!! Haha! This is hard!

David’s Bridal:
Overall…very disappointed! This is my opinion but none of them WOWed me! So Azteca here we come on Wednesday! Cross your fingers!

First Dance!

Ooh! I found the song I want for our first dance! I am going to keep it a surprise of course! I probably need to stop listening to it or it wont be as amazing but I can't help it! (I can't help but think about that moment)!!
Just trying to check stuff off! Haha! I am trying to be proactive but is not really happening...
What do you do when you have numerous ideas...how do you pick? I have the fun little checklists but they sure can be overwhelming! I do know that the bridesmaid dresses are in the works and Ariane said they should be here in 6-8 weeks! the following is the link if you have not been updated on the dresses! First Dress Appointment

So I finally made the first dress appointment! Wish me luck/cross your fingers! Brian's sister Stephanie gave me the "corny advise" (in her words) that once I put it on I will know! That is what I am hoping for! :) But I have to admit I am not the girl that has thought about my dress since I was little. I have no idea what I want (well that's not completely true)! I have started to check some stuff out but my goodness there are are millions and I have to say I am also not the girl to spend thousands of dollars on a dress like that darn show... Say Yes to the Dress. Of course I would say yes if I had five to ten thousand to spend just on the dress, that's crazy! I will of course keep you updated so check back soon!

Wedding Location!!

We have decided on the location of our wedding! The Crowne Plaza San Marcos Golf Resort in Chandler, is the spot! After all the research, checking places out, getting excited/disappointed, we found it! I think it is just right for us! The Crowne Plaza San Marcos Golf Resort was the first golf resort in Arizona, and has been a landmark ever since its 1912 debut. Oh and I did ask Ashley if anything spooky has happened there (this is a question Jessica would ask, she loves that kind of stuff). Oooh I can’t wait to tell you the story…
