Loving hard because there is love to be had!! Eeeeee! This is fabulous and Brian West is truly the perfect man for me!

Its funny when people ask how long I have been married. I initially want to say ten years because that is how long Brian and I have been together. Throughout the years we were asked... how long has it been, are you engaged, when are you getting married...blah...blah...blah! He loves me and I love him and and that's all that matters!!! Brian and I have known one another since we were 18/19! We went through silly (young) love, then distant (Kansas, year and a half) love, apartment love, engaged love, home love, married love!! I have to admit that we have been through the LOVE stages and we are still in LOVE! :) We cant wait to celebrate our first anniversary, we have a wine box to open!!

Lindsey is having a...

My best friend Lindsey Goodman and Austin found out what they are having!!!  They had an afternoon appointment so I was bummed I couldn't be there but I asked Lindsey if she would surprise me! Being the fabulous friend she is and knowing me so well she said she would put a little something together to surprise me when I arrived at the house after work. Haha! When I came in she told me to find three balloons somewhere in the house...I walked around for a minute or two and went in to Lisa and Hanks bedroom. I could see a big bump in Tommy's crib (Lindsey's nephew) I lifted up the blanket and up flew three balloons...they were

PINK

with baby

GIRL

written all over them!! Yaaaaayyyyy!

So exciting!

She had bought molds to make chocolate pretzel sticks and dipped Oreos so her and Lisa could share with everyone at work. We spent the evening making those and of course checking out the ultra sound photos...sooo amazing. We giggled at the thought that we are already making fun stuff, the fun has only just begun!! Love you friend :)

That was a two pound bag of grapes! The bag in the middle was a variety of small potatoes (it even had purple potatoes), the Yogurts were really good with the granola and I eat the Jif peanut butters with celery which is the perfect snack!!

Last Week Madness

Last Thursday night Brian came home with roses, a six pack of beer, and mozzarella sticks that he called "my get in a good mood food" (it's not chocolate for me)!!!

Then on Friday I had a parent hand me a bag at the end of the day...

It was filled with a loofah, bath salts, and lotion.

Both were super sweet and thoughtful! But it got me thinking...maybe I was a little too expressive as to how my week was going ;) haha! This week went by quickly and has been going really well. I think the kids are starting to get our classroom routines and expectations down!! Yay!

To take a family picture!

Brian and I had a Sunday Funday Date Day and decided to take a family picture before we headed out! Yikes!

#1 Our dog did not want to come outside...because its too damn hot

#2 It is way too tough to try and hold our dog for more than a minute (a solid 55lbs woo wee!)

But this is what we got and I think it is hilarious...
The 3x picture taking option was starting without two of us...

Classroom!

Welcome to the Jungle!

I had mentioned that a mom from last year asked if she could paint the entry walls into my classroom. I thought why not and she went to work...

Classroom!

I recently went into the classroom...my plan was to get everything ready so I can still enjoy my weekends! I have a mom from last year that wants to paint my entry way to the classroom and cant wait to share...however, I cant find my cord to my camera so you will have to hang in suspense :) Check back soon for pictures of my entire classroom!! :)

Summer Fun Day 3&4

Day 3

Rooooaaaaarrrrrrr!

We explored Dinosaurs today! We made dino hats and feet, made the good ol' volcano with baking soda and vinegar, excavated bones (chocolate chips) from earth (cookie), matched fossils with things we found inside the eggs, cooled off in the sprinklers and played with water balloons at the park!

 Day 4

Jungle Safari

I didn't take as many pictures today probably because we were going non stop...it was one thing to another ;) We made our safari hats and binoculars, had a potato sack race, had a jungle animal hunt at the park, played with the parachute, graphed jungle fruit snacks, made jungle juice and of course cooled off in the mini pool!

Summer Fun Day 2

Aaarrgh!

 Headed out on a treasure hunt for our snack...

 Pirate Booty and Ring Pops!!

 It was hot so we made the mini pool work, haha!

We also worked on Pirate Puppy Place Value, read Shiver Me Letters and went on an ABC hunt, made treasure maps, added up coins (penny, nickel, dimes, quarters) that we pulled from the treasure chest, and used the ar word family to make pirate sounding words: caaaarrrrr, faaaarrrr, taaarrrr. It was another successful day and I am looking forward to tomorrow!
