Happy Birthday Lindsey and Jenny !!

It was one to remember!

Our vacation in Mexico was wonderful. We both came back saying it was one of the most fun and relaxing times we have had in quite awhile. Its not too often that ten people can get together and have a blast for three days! A lot has been going on at work but my mom told me to take a handful of sand (having it represent all the negative “stuff”) and throw it in the ocean! That is exactly what I did and I am not lying when I say that I really did feel better. Now some of the work stuff is still going on but as Melissa Beck would say “rise above the crap” and I am trying my best to do that too. So back to wonderful Mexico…and our Fun in the Sun
Oh I forgot to mention the band! The middle pic is all of us and the band. I (well I asked Brian to) see if the band would play at our wedding, haha! Bri got there email address so we will see, I have my fingers crossed :) They were amazing! Some of the best cover songs I have ever heard, it felt like we were at a rock concert.

Eeeee! I just asked Bri to help me remember the songs and he said he emailed Hugo, the best server in Rocky Point! To check in on the band stuff! It may not happen but I tell ya it would be a wedding of a lifetime…I am pretty positive its going to be a good one anyway ;) but this would just top the charts!



We need to plan another trip very soon!

NASCAR...

The Burrell Family has introduced us and made us super fans of Nascar! Each year we have been invited by the Burrells to spend two days out of the year at this wonderful place! The first time I went was a Friday...Kristian, Tami and I headed out after work. It was a hoot! It reminded me a lot of Country Thunder! After the truck races we went to the camp sites and everyone made you feel welcome even if you did not know them...the kind of people I like!
The last few times we went we BBQ ed, enjoyed the company of others, and headed to watch the race! This last race was just fantastic!! Everyone was in the right state of mind You know...to have a good time...and that's exactly what we did!

What is in here?!?!

Well...they FINALLY arrived!

I did win free bridesmaid dresses! and I really like them. The color is pretty... I tried one on ;) and felt pretty and twirly in it! Two of the four ladies tried them on and below are a few samples. They truly are amazing...with just a little adjustment it is a different dress! So many options/styles! They are FUN!!!
I have come to the realization that...(well I have been told and have just realized) purples vary extremely but I am ok with/really like it! Who doesnt like variety!! :) But here is Lydia posing with the flower girl dress! If you pull up the under part its almost the same color ;)

Flower Girl Dress!

I found my flower girl dresses! Eeee! I ordered one just to see it and if I did not like it I would send it back but I LOVE IT! It was what I had originally wanted at the beginning and then I started to look at white dresses and nothing stood out to me. But this one did. I got it in the mail today along with my passport…now we can book our Honeymoon! I had a very exciting trip to the mail box! But here is the cutest dress and here are the little beauties who will be wearing it!!

The Garden!!

Just about two weeks ago Brian and i planted

our very first garden!

We (Bri) dug up the rocks on the side of the house, made a trip (or two) to

Home Depot to get the goods and this is what we made...

We have a little bit of everything... Corn in the back, squash at one side,
zucchini at the other, and peppers in the middle( that's the starter plant)!

Then we have a few things germinating separately...some of my favorites...

Tomatoes, basil, (all you need is mozzarella) and peppers!

I came home today to a very happy gardener...

...that showed me our very first sprout! Here it is!!Its from the zucchini mound :)

I cant wait to find a cute sign for the garden and to get some West Produce...
