If you are having a bad day...

Drive your ride to the McDonald's on Val Vista and Guadalupe!
No not to get a fat nasty meal! What you will find is (hopefully if he is working) the most wonderful man ever! His name is Ralph! I do not really know him but what I do know is that he sure knows how to turn your day around. I’m not a regular or anything ;) just like my Big Fat Diet Coke once in awhile but the last few times I have driven through this is what I hear…

Boy, Miss you sure have a lovely voice”

“Looking good today…as usual” This one got me thought he remembered me or something :)

Yesterday (getting drinks for the team at lunch) he takes my debit card and says…"This is one of the best pictures I have seen, people usually don’t take good pictures on these things "…(mind you it was taken 7 years ago, morning pic, not showered, glasses on…you get what I mean)! ;)
Regardless there needs to be more people like this man in the world. I am sure it would be a happier place. I’m telling you…hit it up if you need a smile!
Ok here I go…
When I am on duty in the morning my favorite thing to do is (because it makes them smile which makes me feel good) tell the little ones that they are looking good!
I love your dress! Did you get a haircut? You look handsome today!

The best thing about teaching kindergarten is that( you get it right back) they give compliments like this all the time! They will literally compliment you from your hair to your pedicured toes that they “accidentally” step on and chip! :)

Side Note:
Make someone smile! Say something nice to someone tomorrow…something that they would not usually hear!

So I would love to have one of these at the wedding…

Just imagine…us sliding into the reception and the endless/most amazing picture opportunities ever !! I would totally consider it if there was enough room :) I'm still gonna see what I can do ;) Well..on the "band" note...don't think the Mexico band will be joining us. Brian said imagine if they sent another group by accident. I still think they were something!

Oh and imagine if there was a picture of us…not the princess/prince! Haha! Ooh I just might buy one for the backyard with our pictures on it! Perfect! Friends you may be jumping in one soon…

Lazy Sunday!

Adriane and I ran errands all day long...I seriously felt like I was not home at all and I sure do love to be home on Sundays with Bri! Chris ( Brian's mom) came over and met Fiona! She brought us our first Pooper Scooper...boy are we set! And a very nice Graduation card...thank you! Then we skyped Stephanie and Adam so they could see her in action!
My mom came over soon after (she was stuck in traffic on the 17 after a day in Jerome) and brought me this! It doesn't look like much now but cant wait to show the result after we get after it! :) I will keep you in suspense! I love it Mom...it was exactly what I was thinking/wanting! Thank you!

But my whole point of the Lazy Sunday post was for these two ladies ;) The two sleepiest people I know and its was just too cute not to share!

17 Years!

Today I have been a diabetic for 17 years! I still remember the day I went to the doctor because something was “wrong”. I had a list of particular things to eat, then had to wait a few hours and had to have blood work done. A few days later I came home to my parents explaining what it was I had…
Diabetes
what else would a kid say besides….
“What do you mean I can’t eat candy?”
Lindsey has the best story about this…!
It is no longer a hindrance as it was when I was little (well some days I don’t want to change my pump). How funny that I just got a buzz buzz buzz from my pump…that means my pump is almost out of insulin. I remembered this today as I wrote the date on the whiteboard for the kids this morning. I told Saro and he said…“that’s along time Miss Gora” with some silly eyes! :) Mom where is my sugar free pie? I told them that was what I got for my first Diabetic Anni! Hehe!
Well...
I have to say that I have met some amazing people because I am a diabetic!

Right now she is laying in my lap...sleeping...making sniffy snuffy noises! And turning around almost falling out of my lap...haha she just did and is fine were she fell... hilarious! Oh I think I may be one of those weird dog people that put up pictures and videos of their dog all the time! Never thought I would be...but cant resist...Sorry ;)

Graduation 2010!

So I am done! It is one of those bitter sweet times! I graduated with my masters degree in Elementary Education on Friday, along with my friend Kristian Burrell, hooray for us! (Sweet) Unfortunately we do not currently have a teaching position for next year…as of right now! (Bitter) We truly have been on the most rewarding/yuckiest roller coaster you could ride. But here are some pictures of the graduation and my friends and family who supported me throughout it all! Mom is not pictured (she really wished she was there) but I am so glad she was with the Gora Family in Portland enjoying Miss Iz!

Not me walking down...just my name! Thanks for the great pic Tami!
Vote!
Love them! Here is to us Kristian!! WooHoo!

Love Him!
My Ladies!

Mom celebrated Mother's Day with her Daughter In Law (Rachel) and her first Grand baby (Isreal)! The latest and greatest Gora Girls!! oh and Jacob ;) I think this was extra special! Mom! I would not have missed that for anything...love you!

OOH! Cant wait to share my graduation gifts...check back soon! You will love her as much as I do...
Guaranteed! :)

May 18th

I will try my best to keep this post as positive as I can!
So I guess I will just keep it simple…
The first picture is my RIF letter
and the second is what stands ground in our front yard
(thanks to our neighbor who went to a rally)!!

2nd Annual Dodgeball Tournament

Brian played in the Sandbar Dodgeball Tournament again this year! I could never imagine being in there, having balls thrown at my head, no thanks. But I sure will support them on the sidelines (and say things I do not usually say…Kell knows what I mean)! Words just flew out of our mouths without us knowing it and I pointed a finger at someone! Who points a finger, shakes it and says “I don’t know about you!?!” It was a very relaxing/exciting Sunday! Always nice to spend time with friends and family! Good job T-Bags…until next year!!

Here are a few shots of the team in action...

So the question is...did he hit her or did she catch it???

Something Arrived in the Mail!!!

My Dress!!
Yes she really is here and two months early! It is beautiful and perfect! I would love to show pictures but I cant do that ;) Ooohhh stuff is coming along but the list is no where near done!

I found two flowers that I love and will be using! My mom and I went to a flower shop with the grumpiest old man we had ever met. When you think flower shop this is not the type of person you expect to see. He rolled his eyes after each of our questions and seemed...I mean WAS frustrated when we asked him to get us a flower to look at. Any who...he did have some knowledgeable input on flowers :) So here they are:
Purple Crown Aster
and Green
Spider Mum
